We want to build our brewery through a grassroots effort, focusing on making beers our neighbors want and enjoy.
In order for us to achieve our vision of what a local neighborhood brewery can do for Edmond, we need your help. We value and honor God, Family, and Country and know a sure-fire way of bringing people together is by serving damn good beer and keeping our doors open for all who want to drink it. Founded by James Lowrey, Tyler Reid, and Timothy Lowrey, the Shillelagh Brewing team is excited to share our beer and serve our community in Edmond. A local neighborhood brewery in Edmond, OK with one mission in mind: bringing people together to share great beer and great times. That's why the celestial tomelock is my favorite, because you can utilize flaming sphere with your higher charisma and there is a lot of synergy in the class for it.We are Shillelagh Brewing Company. To that end, I'd highly recommend using it for a gish with great bonus action spell options. Keep in mind that just as far as general "why shillelagh?", you're trading on losing your first bonus action and usually a worse damage dice so that you can be single attribute dependent on a caster stat. You can pick up shillelagh with magical secrets to use it with charisma, but I'd recommend going variant human here for magic initiate: Wizard for a blade cantrip and a familiar
Fighter is the first level because of con save proficiency, armor proficiency, higher starting hp, and fighting style. You can get a charisma based shillelagh from tome, and then your later celestial abilities and green flame blade allow you to basically triple stack your charisma. Get PAM as a feat, don't forget you can use a shield. You can get it from druid but only depending on your and your DM's views on how strict the "no metal armor on druids" taboo is. One thing that is a little rough is that most shillelagh opportunities originate on classes that don't have extra attack, so that usually means you want to pick it up somewhere outside your main class or use cantrips.Įither get it from magic initiate or 1 level of nature cleric. You can fit up to 6 levels, which makes your Charisma worth even more and the Oath Spells don't really make a difference at this point, so you get to choose whatever works with roleplay, unless you want to squeeze something more out of it with Channel Divinity. If you still have space in your build, Paladin might work. Makes for a very flavorful holy dragon gish, too. You can exaggerate this further with levels in Sorcerer for Quickened Spell (usually worth more than maintaining Hex when you're not Eldritch Blast-ing anyway), Dragon Sorcerer for Elemental Affinity on fire makes that even better and Fighter for Action Surge and Medium Armor + Shields. Add a familiar through Ancient Book of Secrets and you can give yourself advantage for that one roll every single turn. Starting at level 6 you'll be doing 1d8 + Cha (Tome Shillelagh) + 1d8 (level 5+ Green Flame Blade)+ Cha (Radiant Soul) to your main target and another 1d8 + Cha to your secondary target. Celestial Warlock with Green Flame Blade on top.
